In the Condiment Dipping Sauce category, you placed 3rd with the Ebesse
ZoZo Dipping Sauce
In the People's Preference Award category, you won the FIRST PLACE in
the Hot Sauce category with your Hot Ebesse Zozo hot sauce.
With 875 entries in 73 categories, the 2005 Fiery Food Challenge was the largest competition in
the history of Chile pepper magazine, the main event in the hot sauce industry. The 2005 Fiery
Food Challenge was juge by more than 250 culinary experts.
What is the Fiery Food Challenge? It's the longest running, most recognized and most prestigious
competition judging manufactured products in the zesty food world. Conceived as a means of
recognizing superior products through a series of blind tastings by culinary experts, the Fiery
Food Challenge has become the industry benchmark. Winners of the 2005 Fiery Food Challenge Golden
Chile Pepper Awards were announced during the show. An awards ceremony during the Zestfest 2004
weekend had increase the visibility of those who win this prestigious award for their products.
This year, the Television Food Network was scheduled to premiere a one-hour special on the 2004
Fiery Food Challenge. More than 250 newspapers, including the leading papers in every major
metropolitan area, was contacted for event coverage. In addition, advertising and food trade
press targets include Adweek, MediaWeek, Brand Marketing, Advertising Age, Media Industry
Newsletter, Supermarket News, National Restaurant News, Food Arts, and more. The Fort Worth
Star-Telegram was the print media sponsor of Zestfest 2004.
