UPDATE ON AWARDS
For the fourth year running, becoming something of a tradition, Nelson,
B.C.'s "hot sauce guy" burns the competition at 2 major internationals
zesty foods contests once again. Edmond competed with over 600 other entrants
in the 2006 America Best Zesty Professional Foods Contest to win First
place for his HOT Hot Sauce, in August in Anaheim, California. He went
on to win Second place for his NEW EBESSE ZOZO CAYENNE TINCTURE in October
in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the 2007 Scovie Awards (www.fiery-foods.com)

Once again, Edmond Segbeaya has torched the competition at international
zesty foods contests winning third place at the 2006 Fiery Food Challenge
(presented by Chile Pepper Magazine) and coming in second place at the
2006 Scovie Awards (presented by Fiery-Foods and Barbecue Magazine).

During the week of December 2 to December 6, 2003, Radio Canada (CBC) came to Nelson with 3 members equipped
to compose the story and biography of Edmond Segbeaya in the national
program called: "Territoire del’autre."(Territory of the Other). On May
27, 2004 at 6:30 pm the report will be on Radio Canada TV( channel
75 or 9) featuring Edmond Segbeaya in the community of Nelson. We invite
you to look at this program which will give you the opportunity to be
informed about the long journey of Edmond Segbeaya from Togo, through
Germany and Canada. It is indeed a cross Country program.
- 03/14/04: First news of 2004! A new packaging is confirmed. Awassi
can now be ordered in durable glass bottles. The pricelisting for these
is $10. However the original jar format is still available.

- 12/09/03: A news crew from CBC
has just finished filming footage of Edmond's business. This includes
his practices, work, and the Ebesse Zozo product. More details to follow.

- 05/15/02: On May 15th, Ebesse Zozo gained its first public exposure
at the 2002 Festival of Savings in the Selkirk
College 10th Street Campus (located specifically at Mary's Hall).
The Convention started at 10 am and ended at 7 pm.
- The event was a major success!
- 04/01/02: The official launching of Awassi was April 1st 2002.
